The German company, MediaRange has just launched a new second generation ProSeries SSD. The new drive is a 2.5-inch form factor with a capacity of 60GB, 120GB, and 240GB. The MediaRange ProSeries II SSD is SATA 3.0 GB / s interface is used and is suitable for use in desktops and laptops.New ProSeries II 2.5-inch SSD based MLC (Multi-Level Cell) flash memory chip and SandForce SF-1222 controller. It can deliver read and write speeds of up to 280 Mb / s and 270 Mb / s, respectively. MediaRange ProSeries II SSD functions for 50,000 IOPS random read / write of 1,000,000 hours MTBF, NCQ support, and TRIM. The price of MediaRange ProSeries II SSD is € 112, € 183.50 and € 475 respectively.
