Understandably, the EeePC is 1020N not so slim and light as the previous Seashell 1008HA netbook, which is basically just an inch thick and weighing a kilogram. But about 1.3 cm thick and weighs about 1.4 kg, this notebook packed more than double the performance and offers the same style and sexy look. In fact, ergonomic, it is much more convenient to use, thanks to larger 12-inch form factor. In comparative terms, it is easier to type on because the keys are not as full as they are usually on other netbooks, including previous EeePC models. As I type this, with well-placed buttons and larger, palm rest and a convenient touch pad, it feels like an ultra-portable notebook.The 1201N is available in two flavors, black and silver-gray, we tested the latter. With the exception of the buttons and the base which are matt black, the whole unit has a full gloss, but a brush metal look (in the case of silver). Ports are placed on both sides and built-in speakers on the front, this is not the best. If the machine on your lap, you would cover the speaker that can easily drown the sound. Overall it is a sexy look at a netbook a handy to carry.
