Hitachi has officially announced two new super-short focus projectors in Japan, the Hitachi CP-A300NJ and Hitachi CP-AW250NJ. Some say the world’s smallest and lightest short focus projectors measuring 345 x 85 x 303 mm and weighs 3.8 kg. Both short-focus projectors are capable of 80-inch pictures, two D-Sub, HDMI interface, S-Video, one USB port and a mono speaker 10W.The Hitachi CP-A300NJ projector is only 23cm away, a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels (XGA) and 3,000 lumens brightness. The Hitachi CP-AW250NJ is 26cm distance from the screen, a picture resolution of 1280 x 800 (XGA) and 2,500 lumens brightness. Hitachi CP-A300NJ and CP-AW250NJ was in Japan 5 May 2011. Information on the price of these projectors is still unknown.
