ViewSonic launches on the European market, the new 10-inch tablet, the ViewSonic ViewPad 10s. It is based on Nvidia’s Tegra 2nd-gen SoC. The ViewSonic ViewPad 10s Android Tablet packs a 10-inch LED-backlit capacitive multi-touch TFT display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The tablet with a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 250 SMP dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor is equipped with 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM, 512MB of flash memory and a MicroSD slot (up to 32GB).ViewSonic ViewPad 10s Tablet brings Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b / g Wi-Fi, a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front, two 1.5W stereo speakers, USB 2.0 and HDMI ports, G-sensor and an optional 3G. The battery provides up to 6.5 hours of operation. Dimensions of ViewPad 10s are 275.5 x 178.5 x 14.5 mm and weigh 730 grams, and runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS. Cost of the WiFi-only ViewSonic ViewPad 10s tablet is about €299 but you can get ViewPad 10s WiFi+3G model for price tag of €398.
