Resource Slashgear conducted a comparative test of two smartphones -Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC SensationBy providing a lot of photos and video. Both these new models are running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, built on dual-core 1.2 GHz processors and have advanced features, including 4.3-inch touchscreen, 8 megapixel camera and so on. It is not surprising that journalists have decided to compare these two reach of modern communications industries. According to them, HTC Sensation better feel and the hand, despite the fact that Samsung Galaxy S II noticeably thinner (8.49 mm versus 11.3 mm). A sense of compactness and rounded corners help HTC Sensation. In addition, this model has a higher screen resolution - 960 x 540 pixels, while Samsung Galaxy S II, it is only 800 x 480 pixels. But at Samsung Galaxy S II uses panel Super AMOLED Plus proprietary Samsung, whereas the HTC Sensation simply used Super LCD. Screen Super AMOLED Plus provides more vivid colors and deeper blacks. The photo is also easy to feel the difference of behavior in the sun. As for performance, it was compared with the benchmark Quadrant Advanced. The overall performance of Samsung Galaxy S II was 3504, and CPU - 7119. HTC Sensation managed to score in these categories only in 2245 and 5,918 points respectively. In this case, Quadrant Advanced unable to identify the processors, since they are completely new.
